As you may be aware, Kwalee held a competition to promote a launch of our first game Gobang Social. We gave one lucky winner a chance to win a cash price equivalent of the brand shiny New iPad! Mr John Pickford was the winner with an astonishing record of playing over 2000 matches!

Kwalee staff and family were not allowed to participate in this competition for obvious reasons but we were given a chance to try our luck in a second competition just for the staff.

After several weeks of intense gameplay I was lucky to emerge victorious! The battle was a close one with Tom Aherne, Bruce Everiss and Jessie Darling coming as close 3 points behind. For the prize, my girlfriend and I got to have a £200 dinner at a restaurant of our choosing. Mallory Court Manor House Hotel restaurant came highly recommended by both Bruce Everiss and David Darling so we chose to have our prize dinner there.

The food, atmosphere and booze were extraordinary! Their menu changes every evening so we were lucky to dine at Mallory Court on the evening when they were serving sheep testicles, which are confusingly called sweetbreads and I must have to say the balls did not disappoint! Both my 3 courses and the balls themselves were an absolute treat worthy of the Gods! Both I and my girlfriend Becca are very grateful for the opportunity to dine at such a luxurious place and something which we will remember for a long time!
