As we continue to grow, we are now looking for a Lead Game Artist to join our Hybrid Casual Games team.

The Lead Game Artist will be responsible for leading a small art team and delivering high-quality 2D/3D art, UI, animations, and VFX that elevate the player experience while maintaining a strong and cohesive visual identity. You will work closely with game designers, developers, and production teams. Together, you will shape the visual direction of our hybrid-casual titles and bring engaging, polished game worlds to life.

This is a permanent role based in our Bangalore Studio, where close collaboration helps us move fast, iterate often, and create exceptional player experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own the creation, scheduling, and implementation of art assets across projects
  • Lead and manage a small team of artists, providing guidance, feedback, and career development
  • Create polished 2D/3D art, UI, VFX, and animations tailored for hybrid-casual games
  • Produce Spine animations for characters and gameplay assets
  • Develop and maintain a consistent visual style across features, levels, and live-ops content
  • Collaborate closely with designers and developers to ensure smooth asset integration in Unity
  • Contribute to ideation, rapid prototyping, and iteration during early development phases
  • Ensure art quality, performance, and clarity meet hybrid-casual standards
  • Report directly to the Art Director.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in mobile game art (hybrid-casual experience preferred)
  • Strong hands-on expertise in 2D art, 3D modelling, lighting, texturing, animation, VFX, and UI
  • Experience creating Spine animations for characters and gameplay assets
  • Proficiency with Photoshop, Blender or Maya, and Unity tools
  • Ability to concept and ideate visuals quickly for fast-paced prototype phases
  • Strong understanding of colour theory, lighting, composition, and shape language
  • Experience creating stylised, clean, and polished hybrid-casual assets.
  • Solid understanding of hybrid-casual aesthetics, trends, and visual clarity principles.
  • Experience managing small art teams through production and reporting.
  • Based in our Bangalore office with 5 days per week on site.
