As we continue to grow, we are now looking for a Finance Manager – join our Finance team

The Finance Manager will be responsible to take ownership of our day to day accounting and help us scale smartly. You won't just be "managing" systems; you'll be making sure they actually work for the business 

Your focus will be on three main areas: 

Ensure the accurate, timely and efficient management of the company;s accounting systems and financial processes.
Maintain full compliance with all statutory tax and regulatory requirements, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
Partner with cross-functional teams to support decision-making and drive commercial performance and profitability of the business. 

This is a permanent role based in our Bangalore studio, where our daily in-office collaboration fuels creativity and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the year-end accounting process and coordinate external audits.
  • Manage payroll preparation, ensuring accurate payments and timely settlement of all tax liabilities.
  • Prepare and submit all statutory tax filings, including TDS, GST and corporation tax, ensuring full compliance.
  • Manage tax assessments, audits and liaison with statutory authorities and external advisors.
  • Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to management.
  • Lead, mentor and develop members of the finance team.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic and operational decision-making.

Requirements

  • Certified Professional: Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI).
  • Proven Track Record: Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a similar Finance Manager role or a senior Audit capacity.
  • Systems Proficiency: Demonstrated experience managig and navigating robust Accounting ERP systems.
  • NetSuite experience is highly desirable
  • Excel Skills: Intermediate to advanced proficiency (e.g., VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and financial modeling).
  • Team Development: Proven ability to lead, mentor and scale a high performing finance team, with a focus on professional development and accountability.
  • Interpersonal Excellence: A confident communicator capable of partnering with stakeholders at all levels, translating complex financial data into actionable insights for non-finance peers.
  • Analytical Rigor: Exceptional analytical skills with a sharp eye for a detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Process Driven: Ability to implement and oversee rigorous financial controls and streamlined accounting workflows.
