As we continue to grow, we are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Mobile Publishing team.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying new game developer leads to expand Kwalee’s publishing portfolio. You’ll build and nurture strong relationships with developers worldwide, ensuring a seamless process from first contact through onboarding, while contributing to strategies that maximise revenue and profitability.

This is a permanent role based in our Bangalore studio, where our daily in-office collaboration fuels creativity and innovation. 

Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and qualify new game developer leads through proactive outreach and market research.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential games.
  • Manage and optimise lead generation campaigns to deliver qualified opportunities.
  • Maintain and organise the CRM to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with game developers, acting as their advocate.
  • Manage inbound submissions and ensure timely responses and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with Mobile Publishing teams to ensure smooth due diligence and onboarding of developers.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly business development targets.
  • Prepare and present detailed business development reports, pipeline updates, and market analysis.
  • Contribute to strategies that maximise revenue and profitability.
  • Support ad-hoc tasks and initiatives as required by leadership and managers.

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of experience in Business Development within the mobile gaming industry.
  • Proven track record of generating leads, managing pipelines, and closing deals.
  • Strong understanding of the mobile gaming ecosystem and developer landscape.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines.
  • Results-driven with the ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Based in our Bangalore office with 5 days per week on site.
