As we continue to grow, we are now looking for a Sound Designer to join our team.
As a Sound Designer, you will be responsible for creating and enhancing in-game audio within our mobile games and marketing materials. You will work closely with game designers, developers, and artists to ensure the audio aligns with the overall aesthetic and gameplay mechanics. Together, you will create original sound effects, compose music, and integrate audio seamlessly into the game.
This is a permanent role based in our Bangalore studio working onsite 5 days per week, where our daily in-office collaboration fuels creativity and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement original sound effects, ambient sounds, UI sounds, and other audio elements required for the game.
- Compose and produce music that complements the game’s atmosphere and enhances the player’s emotional experience.
- Collaborate with game developers to integrate audio into Unity and ensure optimal performance across mobile platforms.
- Edit, mix, and master audio tracks to meet technical and artistic standards.
- Work closely with game designers, developers, and artists to align sound with the game’s vision.
- Conduct regular audio testing for sound quality, consistency, and immersion.
- Optimize audio assets for mobile platforms while maintaining high performance and small file sizes.
- Maintain accurate records of sound assets and project details.
Requirements
- At least 2+ years of experience or equivalent in Video Game Sound Design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to a creative and evolving development process.
- Familiarity with Unity game engine and basic scripting knowledge.
- Proficiency with audio tools such as ProTools, Logic Pro X, Reaper, or Ableton Live.
- Proficiency in music composition and production.
- Based in our Bangalore office with 5 days per week on-site.
