Our PC & Console team are seeking a talented Video Editor to join the team based in Leamington Spa, working on-site 5 days a week.
The Video Editor will be working within the creative team to concept, record and edit video footage to create engaging and high quality PC & console game trailers. Your trailers will help to maximise the commercial success of our games and company, so a keen eye for detail and current game trailer trends will be key.
Role Responsibilities
- Work within the creative team to concept, record and edit video footage to create engaging and high quality PC & console game trailers.
- Help to create trailers that will maximise the commercial success of our games and company.
- Iterating on drafts, video content etc, in response to team members, market research, developer feedback or external consumer feedback.
- Strategising, conceptualising and designing video content for campaigns with other PCC department team members.
- Executing imaginative, appealing visuals with great attention to detail and delivered to agreed deadlines.
- Ad-hoc other tasks which may arise from time to time and be assigned to you by either the Senior Marketing Artist and Animator, Head of PC & Console Publishing, the COO or the CEO.
Required Skills/Experience
- A minimum of 2 years experience in video editing and motion graphics, with a portfolio that shows a variety of video content.
- The ability to create eye-catching, engaging, dynamic trailers and video content for our marketing campaigns.
- The ability to show initiative, and to work independently or collaboratively as needed with other team members.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects at once and deliver to deadlines in a fast-paced, creative team.
- Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite (Primarily Premiere Pro and After Effects).
- A good knowledge of key cinematography techniques and the ability to utilise in-game tools to capture effective and quality gameplay.
- A keen eye for editing, transitions and working with multiple brands to their respective guidelines.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude, able to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A passion for PC and console games.
