In what could only be described as one of our proudest moments this year, our company won not one, but TWO awards at the TIGA Awards ceremony! The first was for Best Large Studio, and the other for Outstanding Leadership; granted to our COO Jason Falcus.
Our CEO David Darling CBE won the award for Outstanding Leadership last year, so to secure back-to-back wins in this category makes it all the sweeter!
The TIGA Awards are always a great opportunity to celebrate successes with our peers, and particularly our collective success as an industry. From launching chart-topping games like Traffic Cop 3D, to our tremendous global growth throughout the year, we’ve certainly had plenty to cheer about in 2021.
The progress we’ve made today as a company is testament to our “fail fast” culture, which has served us well since 2011, and thanks go to our brilliant team, the amazing indie developers we work with as a publisher and everyone who plays Kwalee games!
“I’m honoured that the TIGA judging panel chose me for the Outstanding Leadership category, particularly following David’s win last year,” said Jason. “I’m proud to represent Kwalee and the hard work that goes on behind the scenes, so it makes me even happier that everyone’s work was acknowledged with us being named Best Large Studio! Winning that award is no mean feat, given the competition, so it’s certainly something for us all to be proud of.”
We spend a lot of time and effort harbouring a positive and learning environment across our global studios and remotely, so that what you do here isn’t just work, it’s also fun and exciting for you to do. After all, how else can we make chart-topping games!?
