Our PC & Console team are seeking a talented Senior Community and Social Media Manager to join the team based in Leamington Spa, working on-site 5 days a week.
Our Senior Community and Social Media Manager will be the leader of our Community & Social Media (CSM) Team in PC & Console Marketing. The role is responsible for managing the CSM team and evaluating their performance, delegating games and work to different teams and team members, planning and executing our social media and community strategies, preparing and posting social media content, and responding to questions from community members across social media, Steam, Reddit, and Discord for our PC and Console games and for Kwalee Gaming itself.
Role Responsibilities
- Create and deploy high-impact community and social media strategies, tactical plans, and campaigns to meet revenue goals and drive sales and wishlists across PC & Console titles.
- Manage the Community & Social Media team, evaluating performance through regular reviews, and managing the departmental budget, including purchase orders and spend justification.
- Set, track, and report on core KPIs weekly and monthly for all managed games to ensure progress towards objectives.
- Prepare and post engaging content (including long-form Steam announcements) across various platforms for Kwalee Gaming and its PC & Console titles, ensuring consistent awareness, advocacy, and engagement.
- Serve as the primary contact for players, leveraging social media to actively build and grow communities on platforms like Discord and Reddit.
- Collaborate with the Creative team to brief design assets and work closely with other Marketing teams to develop integrated, highly effective, and targeted campaigns.
- Pitch strategies and attend regular catch-ups with external developers to report on community and social media activity and progress.
- Provide technical and engaging participant support for livestreams, attend key gaming events (both on-site and remotely for social media support), and manage bespoke launch giveaways.
Required Skills/Experience
- Min. 4 years of experience working in community & social media management in the games industry.
- Experience in people management.
- Extensive experience in the planning and execution of community & social media strategies.
- Extensive experience in the managing of community & social channels for a core brand.
- Excellent copywriting skills.
- Working proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve, and/or equivalents.
- Great organisational skills, prepared to learn new tools and techniques.
- A native understanding of written and spoken English.
- Good communication skills.
- A willingness to work flexibly to cover events outside of standard working hours.
