But while this instinct is understandable for developers who naturally want to show off their game in the best possible light, it’s actually a major misconception that could end up wasting a lot of unnecessary time and preventing you from accessing the help needed to make your game better and more successful.

 

What Makes a Hyper Casual Game

Depending on who you ask, you might be given differing definitions of what exactly makes a Hyper Casual game. There are no doubt some things that go hand in hand with Hyper Casual gaming, such as the game having a short lifespan, the majority of revenue coming from ads and the fact that they can be developed quickly. But these don’t define what actually makes a successful Hyper Casual game.
